Nearly 100 Employees Will Relocate to State-of-the-Art Facility
LANGHORNE – (March 16, 2001) – Medical Data Institute (MDI), local medical publisher and creator of the Epic Plus® system and Centralmed.com, is relocating to the new Bucks County Technology Park (BCTP) located in Trevose, PA. The move of nearly 100 employees will be complete by June. "We've recently expanded our business to include a new Internet-based service. It is supported by a UPS battery system that is backed up by a diesel generator with 1.5 million watts of back-up power, insuring no power outages. Additionally, there is a redundant Internet connectivity via a Single Optical Network Ring. The facility also houses over 250 T-1 lines and is entirely supported by fiber optics. In fact, it's right on a fiber optic hub.
